Luis Calvo is a photographer and content creator originally from Costa Rica, who is now in New York City. His work, inspired by architecture, lines, symmetry, and nature, reflects a profound spiritual connection and a fascination with the play of light and its emotional impact.
A graduate with honors from Veritas University, Luis earned the highest GPA in his class and his thesis was recommended for an honorable mention. He has developed a strong background as a communicator, retoucher, and content editor, working across fashion, commercial, editorial, and documentary photography. His collaborations span diverse teams from the USA, Latin America, Spain, the Philippines, and Canada.
Luis has worked with notable publications and clients, including Vogue and Fashion Weeks, featuring brands like Pepa Pombo, Jessica Butrich, Giannina Azar, and Isla & White. He has also served as the official model developer for prestigious brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren & Fendi.
